Investment Philosophy

Simply put, my investment approach starts and finishes with fundamental bottom-up analysis of the company and industry.   Overlaid on this is a long-term perspective and focus on diversification, acknowledging that "unknown unknowns" represent a significant knowledge gap or "blind spot" to the individual investor as well as the wider market.  So to be truly agnostic, the only way to protect yourself from risk is to diversify between assets and asset classes.  In short, I dont like concentrated portfolios and try to keep more cash than is healthy to allow myself to buy when the massive crash eventually comes.
